Definitions

  • the present disclosure relates to the air conditioning field, and more particularly to a multi-split system and a control method thereof.
  • a part of high pressure liquid refrigerant is throttled into a low temperature and low pressure refrigerant by a supercooling electronic expansion valve in a distribution device, and then flows through a bypass of a heat exchanger to cool a high pressure refrigerant in a main path of the heat exchanger so as to provide a supercooling degree for the refrigerant in the main path. Therefore, the control of the supercooling electronic expansion valve will target a supercooling degree of a liquid refrigerant at an outlet of the main path of the heat exchanger. However, if the supercooling electronic expansion valve is adjusted only taking the supercooling degree of the liquid refrigerant at the outlet of the main path of the heat exchanger as the control target, the following problems will exist:
  • the supercooling electronic expansion valve is directly communicated with a return side, when a target supercooling degree is reached, if an opening of the supercooling electronic expansion valve is too small, the refrigerant after heat exchanging with the refrigerant of the main path and getting out of an outlet of the bypass of the heat exchanger has an overlarge superheating degree that, after mixed with a refrigerant from an outlet of a refrigeration indoor unit, produces return air with a larger superheating degree, which causes a discharge temperature of a compressor to rise continuously, thereby affecting the reliability of the compressor.
  • the supercooling degree of the liquid refrigerant at the outlet of the main path of the heat exchanger is not monotonically related to the opening of the supercooling electronic expansion valve, when the opening of the supercooling electronic expansion valve is gradually increased, an inlet supercooling degree of the supercooling electronic expansion valve at a steady state will increase first and then decrease. In some situations (such as at the end of oil return), when the opening of the supercooling electronic expansion valve is increased, an outlet supercooling degree of the main path of the heat exchanger will lag for a period of time, in such a case, if control is performed according to the target supercooling degree, the opening of the supercooling electronic expansion valve will continue to increase until reaching the maximum.
