Definitions

  • the invention relates to an adjustable shoe.
  • a movement of the heel is as a matter of principle any type of movement which is performed by the heel relative to the shoe sole.
  • the heel can be configured pivot able. It is furthermore conceive able that the heel is remove able and thus separated from the shoe according to the invention also this constitutes a movement of the heel.
  • a torque proof connection means that the connection is configured by the respective link to absorb a torque. Put differently the connection does not release a relative rotation of the adjacent components but blocks this relative rotation at least substantially. The non-torque proof connection however facilitates a relative rotation of the respective components without significant force application.
  • the sole elements describe the individual elements of a shoe sole of the shoe wherein the toe element and the heel element respectively are sole elements according to the instant invention. Additional sole elements are conceivable thus it is not mandatory that the shoe includes exactly two or three sole elements.
  • Another sole element according to the invention can be any sole element, thus also a toe element or a heel element.
  • a “link arrangement” according to the instant invention is an arrangement which facilitates at least a rotate ability of the adjacent components that are respectively connected to the link arrangement.
  • a link arrangement of this type can be formed for example by a film hinge.
  • Adjustable shoes of the general type recited supra are already known in the art. As a matter of principle there is a need to adjust a show between a high condition and a flat condition. This relates in particular to so called “high heels”, this means a particular type of ladies show whose heels are typically several centimeters tall.
  • the adjustable shoe of the type described supra solves the problem in that the same shoe is adjustable between the recited positions. This removes the necessity to carry an additional pair of shoes.
  • Switching a shoe between a tall condition and a flat condition has the problem that the shoe sole has completely different shapes in both conditions of the shoe. While the shoe sole is strongly cambered in the tall condition of the shoe starting at a front end and going to a rear end of the shoe the shoe sole extends essentially flat or parallel to the ground in the flat condition of the shoe.
  • the shoe sole adjustable shoes typically include at least one pivot joint along the shoe sole.
  • the pivot joint facilitates rotating adjacent shoe sole elements relative to each other so that overall the shape of the shoe sole is adjustable between a cambered tall shape and a relatively straight flat shape.
  • Adjustable shoes are known for example from WO 2007 09 76 16A1.
  • This document describes a shoe in which the heel is pivot able about a rotation axis that is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the shoe. This way the heel is switch able between a tall position and a low position. In the low position a height of the heel which defines a distance between the ground and the heel portion of the shoe is much less than in the tall position of the heel.
  • the shoe sole of the shoe illustrated in the recited document can change its contour due to a hinge.
  • An alternatively adjustable shoe is known from WO 2012107712 A1.
  • the alternatively adjustable shoe includes a pivot able heel which is completely arranged within the sole of the shoe in a passive condition.
  • the shoe includes two sole elements namely a forward short toe element and a rear long heel element. Both sole elements are connected with one another in a flexible manner.
  • the disadvantage of the known show is its lack of stability which can become apparent through kinking of the shoe in particular when the shoe is in its tall condition. In particular both sole element of the shoe are not lock able.
  • WO 2014/020175 A1 shows an adjustable shoe.
  • the adjustable shoe includes a three piece sole and is configure able with different heels.
  • the shoe includes an attachment arrangement which is configured to cooperate with different heels using form locking.
  • It is a disadvantage of the known shoe that the at least one heel has to be stored separately in any case. This embodiment reduces the acceptance of an adjustable shoe considerably since in any case several individual components are required in order to be able to facilitate the switch ability of the shoe between “high” and “flat”.
  • an object of the invention to provide an adjustable shoe which is “stable” in its tall condition as well as in its flat condition, this means its inclination is reduced to laterally or longitudinally kink out during load introduction compared to the prior art when the heel is stepped on by a foot.
  • the object is achieved by the adjustable shoe described supra in that a heel surface contacts the ground directly in a passive position of the heel.
  • an adjustable shoe configured to stand on a base surface, the adjustable shoe including at least one shoe sole; and at least one heel, wherein the at least one shoe sole is divided respectively into at least two shoe sole elements which are arranged at least indirectly behind one another in a longitudinal direction of the at least one shoe sole, wherein the at least two shoe sole elements include a toe element and a heel element, wherein adjacent shoe sole elements of the at least two shoe sole elements are respectively connected with each other by at least one joint arrangement, wherein the adjacent sole elements are pivotable relative to one another by the joint arrangement, wherein at least the heel element and at least one shoe sole element which is adjacent to the at least one heel element are connectable torque-proof in at least one interlocking position in a tall condition of the adjustable shoe, wherein the heel is movable relative to the at least one shoe sole at least between an active position and a passive position so that the adjustable shoe is adjustable at least between the tall condition and a flat condition, wherein the at least one shoe sole includes a heel compartment in which the heel is storable
  • the term “directly” in this context can be interpreted so that the heel surface of the shoe sole is not offset from the ground by the heel or a heel component as it is the case in WO 2007 097616 A1.
  • it is not detrimental for a “direct” contact according to the instant application when the shoe heel surface is provided in a flat condition of the shoe with an additional element or similar.
  • the shoe heel surface is formed by an applied element put differently the heel surface is not limited.
  • the shoe heel surface is not limited to the surface which is oriented at the shoe heel in the heel element towards ground.
  • shoe heel surface is as a matter of principle independent from the walking surface in the portion of the shoe heel by which the shoe according to the invention contacts the ground in its flat condition in the portion of the heel element. It is conceive able in particular that the described heel compartment is at least partially arranged in the heel element and closed in downward direction by a cover flap.
  • the running surface in the portion of the shoe heel element can be partially formed by the shoe heel surface itself and partially by the cover flap which is at least partially arranged at the heel element, however which as a matter of principle is not part of the heel element as such.
  • the shoe heel element with its shoe heel surface is in direct contact with the ground which is essential to practice the invention.
  • the heel element in its passive condition is still in contact with the ground, this means that the shoe in its flat condition stands on the ground in addition to the shoe heel surface in addition to the shoe heel surface on the ground. Also this is irrelevant for practicing the invention since the load reaction is at least partially advantageously mostly by the shoe heel surface. It is conceivable in particular that the heel element starting from its active position is pivoted or folded into a passive position, wherein a surface of the heel which is oriented vertical in an active position of the heel is oriented horizontal in a flat condition of the heel and comes in direct contact with the ground, wherein the surface terminates for example flat with the shoe heel surface of the shoe heel element. In spite of this conceivable configuration of the shoe according to the invention it is particularly advantageous when the heel element in its passive position is completely insulated from the ground, this means when the shoe in its flat condition impacts the ground, the heel element does not come in contact with the ground.
  • the “flat” condition of the shoe according to the invention describes a condition in which the shoe is configured to contact the ground directly with its shoe heel surface.

  • the heel portion according to the invention does not contact the ground exclusively with a heel element arranged there between as it is provided in the prior art document described supra.
  • the heel portion of the shoe sole in itself can be configured for example wedge shaped so that the described contact between heel surface and ground is provided but a contact surface or foot surface where a foot of a person wearing the shoe contacts the shoe is not parallel to the ground.

It is also conceivable that the slope of the foot surface rises and falls over the length of the shoe in an alternating pattern or remains constant at least in sections.
  • the shoe is configured as so called all in one shoe in which no components or individual components have to be transported and/or stored externally.
