Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a backpack, and more particular to an anti-gravity backpack.
  • Backpack is a daily necessity for people carrying stuff. Having a backpack on, the pressure, which is normally shared by the backpack's shoulder straps, is ultimately imposed on the wearer's shoulders.
  • One problem of the pressure imposition is that it causes sore shoulders and affects wearer's health after a long period of wearing.
  • a belt is usually provided at a lower portion of the backpack.
  • the belt is bound tightly around his/her waist, which only reduces the pressure imposed on the wearer's shoulders to a limited degree.
  • the backpack is loaded with heavy items, friction arises between the wearer's waist and hipbone, thus causing discomfort.
  • the present invention aims to provide an anti-gravity backpack designed to help alleviate discomfort by reducing the pressure imposed on the wearer's shoulders, and to slow down the rate of muscle fatigue.
  • the present invention provides an anti-gravity backpack, which comprises a backpack body and two shoulder straps.
  • a supporting plate for supporting the backpack body is provided on a back of the backpack body;
  • a pressure reducing plate is provided on a back of the supporting plate;
  • an upper end of the shoulder strap is connected to an upper end of the pressure reducing plate, and
  • a lower end of the shoulder strap is connected to a lower end of the backpack body.
  • a first elastic band and a length fixing band are provided between the pressure reducing plate and the supporting plate.
  • An upper end of the first elastic band is connected to the upper end of the pressure reducing plate, a lower end of the first elastic band is connected to the supporting plate.
  • An upper end of the length fixing band is connected to a lower end of the pressure reducing plate, a lower end of the length fixing band is connected to the supporting plate.
  • each shoulder strap is provided with a second elastic band.
  • a positioning piece is provided on a back of the supporting plate for restricting the pressure reducing plate from moving forwards, backwards leftwards and rightwards.
  • the positioning piece is a sleeve, which enables the pressure reducing plate to move upwards or downwards.
  • two protection pads are provided on the back of the supporting plate; the two protection pads are respectively arranged on the left and right side of on the sleeve.
  • the two protection pads are thick and protruding.
  • a positioning element is provided on an upper portion of the back of the supporting plate, and the positioning element is fixed to the supporting plate except the center to allow the first elastic band to pass through.
  • a breathable layer is provided on an upper portion of the back of the pressure reducing plate.
  • the two shoulder straps are slanted.
  • the first elastic band and the second elastic bands each comprise an elastic ribbon and rubber threads knitted inside the elastic ribbon.
  • the length fixing band is configured for limiting the movement of the pressure reducing plate, so as to restrict the first elastic band from stretching then it is supposed to.
  • the existence of the pressure reducing plate, the first elastic band and the length fixing band causes the backpack to bounce up and down to act as a buffer, which not only relieves the pressure on the wearer's shoulders but also saves the wearer's energy with the resilience produced by the first elastic band, thus helping slow down the wearer's rate of muscle fatigue and make the wearer feel less burden on the body.
  • the second elastic band of the shoulder strap also acts as a buffer to reduce pressure distributed on the shoulder strap by stretching out the shoulder strap and drawing it back, thus helping slow down the wearer's rate of muscle fatigue and makes the wearer feel less burdened on the body.
  • the two protection pads and the breathable layer protrude on the sleeve.
  • a passage is created between the back of the backpack body and the wearer's back to allow the ventilation, and therefore improves the breathability of the backpack.
  • FIG. 1 is a schematic view illustrating a back of an anti-gravity backpack of the present invention
  • FIG. 2 is a schematic view illustrating a pressure reducing plate and a first elastic band of the present invention.
  • an anti-gravity backpack of the present invention comprises a backpack body 1 and two shoulder straps 2 , wherein the two shoulder straps 2 are respectively provided with two second elastic bands 9 .
  • a supporting plate is provided on a back of the backpack body 1 to maintain the shape of the backpack.
  • the supporting plate is a plastic rubber plate or other nonmetal material plate, or even a metal material plate.
  • Two lower ends of the two shoulder straps 2 are respectively connected to two lower ends of two sides of the back of the backpack body 1 .
  • Two upper ends of the two shoulder straps 2 are connected to an upper end of a back of a pressure reducing plate 3 .
  • the pressure reducing plate 3 is a plastic rubber plate or other nonmetal material plate, or even a metal material plate.
  • An upper portion of the back of the pressure reducing plate 3 has a breathable layer 31 .
  • the breathable layer 31 is made of breathable waterproof fabric, which makes the contact area between the breathable layer 31 and the wearer's neck breathable, fresh, waterproof, sweatproof, antifouling and wearproof and thus improves comfortable.
  • the two shoulder straps 2 are slanted, so that the weight is evenly distributed on either shoulder when the wearer wears the backpack.
  • An inner surface of the shoulder strap 2 is made of breathable waterproof fabric, which makes the contact area between the shoulder straps 2 and the wearer's shoulder breathable, fresh, waterproof, sweatproof, antifouling and wearproof.
  • the breathable waterproof fabric of the inner surface of the shoulder strap 2 also acts as a cushion and thus possesses shakeproof function and produces buffering effect, which relieves any injury caused by external pressure or impacts inflicting on the wearer's shoulders and back. It therefore effectively ameliorates paralysis and poor blood circulation around the shoulders and back area that stem from longstanding weight bearing and thus improves comfortable.
  • a first elastic band 4 and a length fixing band 5 are provided between the pressure reducing plate 3 and the supporting plate.
  • An upper end of the first elastic band 4 is connected to an upper end of the pressure reducing plate 3
  • a lower end of the elastic band 4 is connected to the supporting plate.
  • a positioning element 7 is fixed to a back of the supporting plate except the center which allows the first elastic band 4 to pass through the positioning element 7 so that the offtracking of the first elastic band 4 is avoided.
  • An upper end of the length fixing band 5 is connected to a lower end of the pressure reducing plate 3 , a lower end of the length fixing band 5 is connected to the supporting plate.
  • the length fixing band 5 is configured for limiting the movement of the pressure reducing plate 3 , so as to restrict the first elastic band 4 from stretching further and draw it back, which therefore reduces pressure.
  • the first elastic band 4 and the second elastic bands 9 may be partially or wholly elastic. In order to improve the anti-gravity effect of the backpack, the first elastic band 4 and the second elastic bands 9 are preferably to be wholly elastic.
  • the first elastic band 4 and the second elastic bands 9 each comprise an elastic ribbon and rubber threads knitted inside the elastic ribbon.
  • the rubber threads are knitted into a rubber band with strong resilience, which greatly reduces the pressure imposed on the wearer's shoulders.
  • Both upper surface and lower surface of the first elastic band 4 or the second elastic bands 9 are knitted with weft which can be knitted by a double-needle loom. The weft on both surfaces protects the rubber threads of the ribbon from being exposed on either surface. Using the double-needle loom to knit together the weft and the rubber threads inside the ribbon not only gives the ribbon excellent flexibility and strong retractive force, but also has the rubber threads wholly wrapped inside the ribbon by the weft.
  • a positioning piece is provided on the back of the supporting plate for preventing the pressure reducing plate 3 from moving forwards, backwards, leftwards and rightwards.
  • the positioning piece is a sleeve 6 tightly attached to the supporting plate on the ends except the center to enable the pressure reducing plate 3 to move upwards or downwards along the center opening.
  • Two protection pads 8 are provided on the sleeve 6 with one on the left side and the other one on the right side.
  • the protection pad 8 is covered with a breathable layer that is made of breathable waterproof fabric, such fabric makes the contact area between the protection pad 8 and the wearer's back breathable, fresh, waterproof, sweatproof, antifouling and wearproof.
  • the two protection pads 8 form a first protrusion over the sleeve 6
  • the breathable layer 31 on the back of the pressure reducing plate 3 forms a second protrusion over the sleeve 6 .
  • a passage is created between the back of the backpack body 1 and the wearer's back to allow the ventilation, which improves breathability of the backpack.
  • the pressure reducing plate 3 , the first elastic band 4 and the length fixing band 5 functions are these: the first elastic band 4 acts as a spring to draw the movement of the pressure reducing plate 3 , therefore to make the backpack bounce up and down; when the first elastic band 4 stretched out as far as the length of the length fixing band 5 , the length fixing band 5 restricts the pressure reducing plate 3 from moving further, so as to make the first elastic band 4 spring back; when the first elastic band 4 springs back, the first elastic band 4 exerts a springback force to push the backpack up, and therefore reduces the pressure on the wearer's shoulders. This mechanism saves the wearer's energy and makes the wearer's footsteps even quicker and lighter.
  • the present invention provides an anti-gravity backpack.
  • the existence of the pressure reducing plate 3 , the first elastic band 4 and the length fixing band 5 causes the backpack to bounce up and down to act as a buffer, which not only relieves the pressure on the wearer's shoulders but also saves the wearer's energy with the resilience produced by the first elastic band, thus helping slow down the wearer's rate of muscle fatigue and make the wearer feel less burden on the body.
  • the second elastic band 9 of the shoulder strap 2 also acts as a buffer to reduce pressure distributed on the shoulder strap by stretching out the shoulder strap and drawing it back, thus helping slow down the wearer's rate of muscle fatigue and makes the wearer feel less burden on the body.
  • the two protection pads 8 and the breathable layer 31 protrude over the sleeve 6 .
  • a passage is created between the back of the backpack body 1 and the wearer's back to allow the ventilation, and therefore improves the breathability of the backpack.
