- An apparatus as specied in claim 1, comprising in combination with the applying brush and the plate, a solid polishing block adapted to be iitted on said applying brush, a bar on the back of said block, a cam-shaped edge on said bar, a disengaging device adapted to engage said camshaped edge, a ratchet adapted to effect the 10W- ering of said plate, and a feed pawl engaging said ratchet adapted to be disengaged from said ratchet by said pin during the insertion of the device in said block brush.
