This invention relates to Vaporizers.

This invention has utility for generating and permitting directed delivery of fumes or humidity upon the person of an individual for health treatment of a body part or even for a scalp or hair treatment. In treating hair which has been given treatment for establishing a condition as of curl or waving, exposure to warm moisture not to effect burning promotes reverting of the hair to the condition established by the treatment.

I Glectric current supply lines 1 in conduit 2 extend to fitting 3 which, as inserted in socket 4, supplies electric current from terminals 5, 6, to the resistance 7 in chamber 8, there to serve as a heating medium. This chamber 8 is snugly located against bottom 9 of boiler or liquid containing chamber 10.

This chamber 10 has side walls 11 terminating in a return bend or bead 12 interlocking with inwardly extending flange 13 of base 14. This base 14 at its lower portion has inwardly extending flange 15 with opening 16, so that lug carrying member or plate 17 may be assembled on the flange 15 by bayonet turn joint, and there carry screws 18 adjustable to locate the chamber 8 and the heating element 7 in position against the bottom 9 of the chamber 10.

This plate 17 has openings 19 therein, out of which are bent up ears 20, in which are mounted pins 21 carrying insulation disks 22 as feet for this device.

The side walls 11 of the chamber 10 upwardly terminate in outwardly offset portion 23 providing a seat in which may be inserted lower rim 24 of dome 25. This dome 25 has therein a slot 26as a 'port of greater dimension parallel to the bottom 9 than perpendicular to the bottom 9. The dome 25 has fixed therewith-insulation handle 27. heating the liquid in said boiler to convert such into a vapor under pressure, discharging said vapor in a thin restricted jet directly from said boiler, and progressively directing said jet along the hair.
