The several parts of the within-described invention being constructed as specified, the end of the blade of the saw is held or drawn back against the shoulder by means of the key, as shown, the operation of quickly detaching and firmly attaching may be noted. By removing the key the handle will be detached from the blade, and the mode of attaching will be seen Without further specification.
I claim- In combination, the ears C C, shoulder h, and K all constructed and operating as and for the purpose specified and described.
