Figure 3 is a longitudinal sectional view out on line 3-3 of Figure 1.
Figure 4 is a transverse sectional View out on line 4-4 of Figure 1.
As illustrated in the accompanying draw- The razor blade clip comprises a strip 1 of metal or similar material. The intermediate portion of the stri 1 is provided with angularly disposed ben s 2 and 2' which are disposed in opposite directions as indicated in the figures of the drawing. At the outer edges of the portions 2 and 2 the strip is formed with the side parts 3 and 4., The side part 3 is provided with an openin 5. The
parts 3 and 4 are normally incline with relation to the intermediate portions of the strip and the free edges thereof normally contacting with the edges of the intermediate portions as best shown in Figures 1 and 2 of the drawing. The part 4 is provided with a bevel edge 6 which may serve as a guide for slipping the discarded razor blades between the intermediate portion of the strip and the part 4 so that the said blades will be retained between the intermediate portion and the part 4. Several new blades may be inserted between the part 3 and the mtermediate portion of the strip 1 and when it is desired to remove a single new blade or blades Serial No. 574,213.
from between the same the operator passes his thumb or finger through the opening 5 and pushes out a blade between the edges of the part 3 and the intermediate portion of the strip.
Having described the invention, what is claimed is A razor blade clip comprising a sheet of resilient material having an intermediate portion with angularly disposed portions along the opposite edges thereof, said angularly disposed portions extending in opposite directions from the intermediate portion and side portions extending from the angularly disposed portions along the opposite sides of the intermediate portion, one of the side portions having a central opening and the other side portion being provided with an interiorly located b'evel along its free edge.
