My invention relates to rotatable supports for washing machines and table legs, and other structures, and it has for its object to provide a support, which, while permitting the legs to exercise a vibrating movement and to permit of a tremor or movable action to the legs during the use of the machine or other device, without doing injury to the floor and at the same time to be moved about from one place to another upon the floor, while in use, or for storage when not in use, and also to produce a rotatable and movable frame support easily applied for supporting said structure, and permitting the structure to be removed when required from the suport.

WVith these and other objects in view my invention consists of the following novel features of construction and arrangement of parts as will be hereinafter more fully described and pointed out in the claims. Reference being had to the accompanying drawing in which:

The same reference characters denote like parts in each of the several parts of my device. In carrying out my invention, I provide a triangular frame A, made of metal, preferably of angle iron. The view in F igi 1 represents an interior plan view of my device, and shows the side members 6, b, b of the frame A; the side members having the vertical sides 2 and the horizontal sides 3, as shown in Fig. 1. Across the interior of the corners of the frame A and on the horizontal surface 3, 3 I have a corner brace piece 4, or it may be integral with the frame, and mounted in each corner of the triangular frame A, I have the circular saucer shaped Serial No. 482,703.

plate 5, as shown in Figs. 1 and 3. On the under side of the horizontal projected side 3 of frame A and across each corner, I have the plate 6, as a tie plate and support. On the under side of plate 6 or in any convenient manner, I have mounted the casters C, C, C.

In a modified form of my device, I have the shallow saucer shaped plate 5, having a curved bottom and projecting the horizontal edge 7, and mounted in any convenient manner around the underside of edge 7 I have the casters C, C, C, forming a support for the plate. In the operation of my device, I have the washing machine body B;

in the operation of the machine by power,

there is more or less vibration, and which adds to the effectiveness of the machine. But the vibration has, by its action upon the legs of the machine, a tendency to mar the floor, or floor surface. To avoid this the saucer shaped plates or supports are used; as protection to the floor; in the washing machine body are the usual legs 8, 8, 8, the lower ends of which rest in the supports 5, 5, 5; as shown in Figs. 2 and 3; in the operation of the device, with this support the whole machine can be moved easily on the casters from place to place on the floor; but with the rests placed on the floor, this cannot be done. In the modified form of my device the legs 8, 8, 8 may rest on the caster supported supports C, C, C alone, and without the aid of a frame. In the operation of my device, the legs of the machine 8, 8, 8 are placed in the supports 5, 5, 5 of Fig. 1 or Fig. 4 and the machine operated, and at the same time when not in operation may be moved from place to place easily for storage, or other purpose. Without this improvement it is impossible to move the machine, for any purpose without great labor and which prevents an easy use of the machine.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new and for which I desire Letters Patent is as follows X A U In a support for washing machines and the like, an open angular frame formed of angle iron with the horizontal part forming an in- Wardly directed ledge and the Vertical part forming a rim for the frame extending above the horizontal part, brace pieces connecting the horizontal flanges of the sides of the frame at the corners and resting on the horizontal flanges, saucer shaped rests supported by the brace pieces at the corner, sup orting plates beneath and secured to sai brace pieces, and casters carried by the supporting plates. s
