My invention relates to circular date calendars.
The object of my invention is to provide a practical and economical annular calendar i adapted, by means of a radial hand, to indicate successively without auxiliary devices, the current day of the week and month as it occurs, regardless of the differences in the number of days in the respective months or 10 the Variations of the days of the weeks corresponding thereto.
A further object of my invention is to provide an annular calendar adapted to be combined with a clock provided with a third or :5 calendar hand operated by the clock mechanism, thereby to provide full information as to the time of the day, week and month by means of a single instrument.
Heretofore, the combination of a calendar if) and clock has not been satisfactory for the reasonthat the months do not have equal numbers of days, and hence the calendar hand of the clock must be provided with an irregular rate of rotation corresponding to the number of days in the successive months; this requires complicated and expensive mechanism. Further, such calendar clocks as have been provided have been incapable of indicating the days of theweek, since they vary with respect to the days of the month,
and it is impossible to provide for this purpose a simple but complete calendar adapted to serve for all the months.
I attain my above objects in combinationwith a calendar, dial and a calendar hand, a series of annular calendarsheets adapted to be placed on said dial, one over the other, each sheet bearing the numerals of the month which it represents, the numerals representing the first days of the underlying consecutive calendar sheets being arranged to follow directly, respectively, the numeral representing the last day of the month on the overlying calendar sheet, whereby, upon the advancement of said hand and the removal of Serial N'o. 572,605.

A still further object of my invention is to provide a clock adapted to have my calendar mounted thereon in a convenient and economical manner and so constructed as to permit the ready removal of the sheet carrying the calendar of the preceding month.
These and other incidental features of my calendar, the details of construction and mode of operation are hereinafter fully described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Thus, upon the removal of the top calendar sheet and the advancement of said hand, the
