This invention relates to gloves and has for an object to provide a glove and method of makin which will eliminate the glove thumb ho e in the palm blank, and overcome the common provision of a thumb seam 1n the palm face of the glove.

It will be seen from the above that no. thumb hole-is needed in either palm or back blanks and that no stitch is presented at the ball of the thumb in the joimng of the love, thus enabling long life of the glove and ro- .viding a very economical method for pr uction of gloves.

What is claimed is:

1. A glove having back and palm portions each having a forefinger portion and a thumb portion, the outer edges of the forefinger portions and the inner edges of the thumb portions being spaced apart respectively, and a connector having substantially parallel sides disposed at the said outer edges of the forefinger portions and the said inner edges of the thumb portions, the connector ex'tend-' ing from the tip of the forefinger portions to the tip of the thumb portions and having its sides secured to the said outer edges of the forefinger portions and the sand inner edges Y thumb of the thumb portions to provide a closely fitting love, While permitting free movement of the thumb and the forefinger relatively to each other.
