In this way the cigarettes within the holder are kept moist, and in addition an ash tray is provided for the ashes from the cigarettes.

rlChe cigarette holder can be supported in various ways. As shown in Figs 2 and9 of the drawings, a bracket is provided having one up-turned end portion adapted to lit in the cleats 23 on the back of the holder body.

A cigarette holder comprising albody having its interior adapted to enclose the cigarettes in horizontal position, and an oscillatory ejector at the bottom of the holder body, movably mounted to discharge the cigarettes successively and one at a time, formed with a normally exposed protruding trough portion to hold the cigarette, which trough portion forms a handle which can be raised to receive the cigarette, operative when released to automatically? return to normal position, including a magazine within the holder body, dividing the cigarettes vertically into two groups, said magazine being pivotally movable about a pivot at its upper end to swing into position to discharge one group of cigarettes into said ejector, after the cigarettes of the other group have been discharged, together with a projection on said magazine, the holder body having a curved slot for said projection, whereby the latter may be used as a handle to operate the magazine. A cigarette holder comprising the combination of a hollow body having its interior adapted to enclose the cigarettes in horizontal position, and an ejector at the bottom of the holder body, said ejector forming the exposed bottom of the holder and being movably mounted to discharge the cigarettes successively, including a magazine within the holder body dividing the cigarettes vertically Vinto if'. two groups, said magazine being pivotally movable about a pivot at its upper end to swing into position to discharge one group of cigarettes into said ejector, after the cigarettes of the other groupV have Vbeen discharged, together with a lateral projection on the side' of said magazine, the holder having an opening for said projection, relatively formed to permit back and forth movement of said projection therein, whereby said projection may be used as a handle to move the magazinen from normal position into discharging position, and then back again to normal position, comprising yielding means for holding the magazine in normal position, and also in discharging position.

11. In a cigarette storage and delivering mechanism, the combination of a box forming va housing or storage chamber for the cigarettes, having front and rear lower edges forming a discharge opening, a sheet-metal member formed with downturned pivoted end portions, with a segmental curved portion to normally engage the lowermost cigarette, and with a front trough-like portion to receive the cigarette, when said member is raisedand rotated backward, said troughlike portion having a front upper edge to engage said front lower el'ge, thereby to limit the backward motion of said member, and a spring fo-r holding said trough-like portion in normally exposed and protruding position, said trough-like portion formingv a rigid handle normally projecting a distance beyond the front of said box, which can be raised against said front by upward pressure on the bottom thereof to oscillate the sheetmetal member backward from its normal position, into receiving position, adapted when released to be returned downwardly by said spring to normal delivery position with the cigarette accessible thereon, said trough-like portion having one or more transverse slots extending across the bottom thereof whereby removal of the cigarettes by the lingers is facilitated.

12. -A cigarette holder comprising the combination of a body having front and back and side walls forming a chamber for the cigarettes, a divider retaining the cigarettes in two separate columns pivoted at its upper end, a sloping wall below the divider, forming with the front wall anV outlet for the cigarettes, a sheet-metal ejector having a trough portion and a curved portion and a stop portion, pivoted on the body, said stop portion normally engaging the lower edge of said sloping wall, and a spring normally holding said stop portion in engagement with the lower edge of said wall, said trough portion forming a handle which can be'ra-ised Y by upward pressure to rotate the ejector into position to receive a cigarette in said trough, said trough portion having a front edge for engaging the lower edge of said front wall to limit the upward motion thereof, and said spring serving to automaticallyreturn the ejector to normal position with the cigarette in said trough.
