This invention relates generally to body protecting devices, and particularly to protectors for shoulders.
The main object of this invention is to provide an exceedingly simple and ei'licientv form of protector which will be formed to; fit the shoulders of the wearer and whichwill distribute a load over a considerable area of the body instead of permitting same- I the intermediate portlon 13, thereby 1nsur'- to cut in at some one point. 1 The second object is to provide a shoulder protector which can be worn underneath the coat of the wearer making same invisible and eliminating'the need for any other form of fastening means. The third object is to construct same from materials which will be light in weight and easily formed into a shape best adapted for the purpose intended.

Similar numbers of reference refer to similar parts throughout the several views. Referring in detail to the drawings, there is shown in Fig. 1 the developed shape of the device which is in reality a collar whose I 5 neck engaging portion 10 is concave and is preferably thicker than the outer edge 11 thereof which is convex.
