At its lower margin, the twin portions of the web 18 are bent outwardly in horizontal planes to form base flanges or feet 24: and 25 of considerable extent and said baseflanges project forwardly of the vertical plane of the frontflanges 19 and 20 to produce lips 26.
The partition members E are capable of being remo-vably and adjust-ably mounted in either of the display units and when so mounted, the base flanges 24 and 25 rest on the bottom wall 14 of the display unit with the lips 26 thereof engaging in the forward slide bearing 16. The partition members may be so constructed that-they fit quite snugly 1n the display units and in the slide bearingsthereof so that they tend to remain in any position in which they may be placed and yet are capable of manual ad ustment longitudinally of the display units, desired.
The partition members E for a given dis play rack may be alike in size and shape and the difierent display units such as A, 73, C anr D, may be uniform in width an... in spaci of their upper slide bearings 17 above their bottom walls. By this arrangement, the partitionmembers E may be transferred from one unit to another if desired and yet, the
lower display units may be made of greater height above the slide bearings 17 so as to accommodate merchandise packagesof greater height in the lower units and of less height in the upper units.
In the accompanying drawings, 1 have shown the display units as mounted in substantially vertical positions and in the de scription, I havcfor convenience, inferred to the walls 13as rear walls and the walls 14.: as bottom walls.
It is to be understood, however, that the units maybe mounted in any desired positions of inclination and that other modifications and alterations may be employed within the scope of the appended claims without debers cooperating with said panel, each par tition member having parts receivable in each of sa d slide bear1ngs,each partition member also having relatively broad base flanges resting onsaid bottom wall.
