IMPROVEMENT IN BROILERS.
Spec-ilication forming part of Letters Patent No. 177,45 l dated May 16, 1876 application tiled April 15, 1876.
To `all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, FRANK O. BADGEE, of Greenport, in the county of Suffolk and State of New York, have invented a. new and valuable Improvementin Broilers; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description ot' the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawings, making a part of this specification, and to the letters and figures ot' reference marked thereon.

rlhe nature of my invention consists in the construction and arrangement of a broiler, as will be hereinafter more fully set forth.
The frame of my broiler is made of a single piece ot' wire, A, bent in rectangular or other suitable form, and having one end, a, of the wire' bent and fastened around the other end,
. b, as shown, thus uniting the ends ofthe wire.
The cross-bars B B of the broiler have their ends bent around the sides ofthe frame, said sides being tirst out with screw-threads, as shown at :v m, so that. when the ends ot' the crossbars B are bent around the same and pressed down the threads prevent them from slipping. The handle is made of a single piece ot' wire, C, bent around in the center, the
ends of this wire being fastened in the same manner to one of the sides of the frame, and the handle held to the other side piece by fine wires d, twisted around the same; The threads on the frame form a simple means for securely fastening the handle and crossbars thereto.
What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The broiler-frame' A, made ot a single piece of wire, bent and fastened together, as set forth, and having two ot' its opposite sides screwthreaded, in combination with the crossbars B, having their ends bent around said sides and into the screwthreads as 0c, and handle O, having its ends bent into Athe screwthreads, substantially as described, and for the purpose set forth.
