Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. [77,183, dated May 9, 1876; application filed March 25, 1876.
Toall whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN G. WEIL, of the city and county of Baltimore, Maryland, have invented a'new and useful Improvement in Machine-Sewed Shoes, of which the following is a specification My invention consists of an extra insole.

The said tags will be arranged along the middle portion of the shoe and the heel, the toe to be fastened by pasting only, and this will be purposely thinly spread, to hold it smooth and neat while the shoe is in the store, and allow it to break loose by wear, by which the shoewill be still easier and less heating to the foot.
