IMPROVEMENT m PEN-RACKS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 176,868, dated May 2, 1876; application filed March 13, 1876.

The object of our invention is to provide an improved pen-rack that may be readily applied to any common'ink bottle or stand, so as to form a neat, cheap, and convenient attachment to thesame. The invention consists of a pen-rack applied by springs to an ink bottle or stand. and having bent-wire arms,forming racks for pen-holders.
In the drawing, A represents the rim of our improved pen-rack, that is attached to the body or neck of an ink bottle or stand, and retained in place thereon by springs B, that bind closely on the neck or body of the bottle or stand. Wire arms.O, of suitable shape,

The pen-rack can be manufactured cheaply', and be adapted to any size or shape of bottle or stand, constituting a practical and neat appendage to the same.
Having thus described our invention, we claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent A detachable penrack for ink bottles and stands, made of a rim, with retaining-springs fitted to body and neck of bottle, and with bent supporting arms, substantially in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
