IMPROVEMENT IN NECK-TIE SHIELDS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No 175,708, dated April 4, 1876; application tiled August 10, 1875.

The second part of my invention relates to the combination, with the several `parts of neck-tie, bow, or scarf shields and hinges, of loops, in such a manner that a band having bcen'passed through said loops, the neck-tie, bow, or scarf may be worn with a standing collar.

l make no claim to the mode in which the shield is secured to the bow, nor the band fastened on the neck. for I am aware that these are not new; but
l claim as my inventionl. In a neck-tie, bow, 0r scarf shield, the combination of the sections A, B, and O, and
the hinges c a, substantially as and for the y purpose hereinbefore set forth.
