IMPROVEMENT IN cLocK-BELLS.
Specificationforming part of Letters Patent No. P73439,` dated February 8, 1876; application filed y l January 3,1876.
To all whom it may concern: l. y A
Be it known that I, HENRY A. SEYMOUR, of Bristol, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Clock-Bells; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains tov make and use it, reference being had to lthe accompanying drawings, which form part of thisv specification.
Heretofore clock-bells have been constructed as follows: To the inner end of the wire coil a brass collet, about one-quarter of an inch in thickness, is soldered; the apex of the metallic bell-stand is tapped or threaded, and the collet is secured to the top of the stand by means of ascrew. ,j
