IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED TABLES AND PIORVTFOLIOS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 171 ,985, November 8, 1875.
To all Iwhom it may concern: i Be it known that I, JOHN BUTLER BUN- YARD, of London, England, manufacturer, have invented a Combined Table and Portfolio, of which the following is a specification: This invention consists inthe construction of a combined table and portfolio for contain; ing and preserving engravings, drawings, and similar articles, the top Of such portfolio-table which forms the portfolio being so constructed contents in the line of sight.
To make my invention better understood I will proceed to describe the same by reference to the accompanying drawing, in which- Figure l is a perspective Iview, showing the porttolio-table closed; Fig. 2, perspective view, showing the same open; and Fig. 3, side elevation of same.

What I claim is- Y The portfolio-table having hinged legs G G, adapted to be inclined backward, and a case or top, G, moving on hinges F, and adapted to be inclined forward, and folding legs E, for supporting the hingedlid or ilap A of' the case or top G, arranged and operating substantially as and for the purposes hereinbefore described, and'represented in the annexed drawing. y
