IMPROVEMENT IN SEWING-STANDS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 153,468, dated July 28, 1874 ;v application filed April 29, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ALFRED TOSTEVIN, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented anew and Improved Ladies Sewing-Cabinet; and'I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings and to the letters of reference marked thereon.
My ladies sewing-cabinet is made of stiff pasteboard or other suitable material, covered with leather, cloth, paper, or other fabric, singly or combined, and has one or more shelves and a box or drawer for toilet or other articles, and also one or more mirrors, to suit the taste of the manufacturer, with proper fastenings to hold thread, needles, scissors, and such other articles as may be desirable; which, by their combination and arrangement in an upright open form, to be hung up, or by the use of the hinged back, to
stand on a table or other flat surface, will be found very useful for ladies, travelers, 8210.
