FARN- HAB/I, of Owego, in the county of Tioga and State of New York, have invented eer-tain new and useful Improvements in Foot-Rests; and. I d0 hereby deala-re the following to be a full, elear, and exact deseription of the invention, such es Will enable others skille d in the art t0 whieh it pertains to make and use it, referenee being had t0 the accompanying drawings, which forn1 pa1t of this specitieation.
My invention relates to an article 0f furniture which I term an easy foot-rest.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a side elevation, and Fig. 2 an end view, 0f my invention cumplete.
My invention consists of a pivoted oscillatin g cushioned foot-rest monnted. upon a rocking frame, said frame provided With a sliding dmwer extending lengthwise thereof, all as and f0r the pnrposes hereinafter more fu1ly described und claimed.
The objeet 0f this invention is to provide an easy, comfortable, and convenient rest for the feet and legs of persons sitting er rechning in ehairs 01 0n sofas .and the like, and a hand-receptacle f0r shoes 01 slippers.
