This invention relates to a certain improvement upon my box-making machine for which Letters Patent were granted to me May 25,
1875; and it consists of the combination, with the former or cylinder, of sliding frames and rollers, substantially as hereinafter more fully set forth.
In the annexed drawing, A refers to the main frame or structure supported at or about its'center upon the post B, having the forming-block b. The upper and lower bars of the frame A are supplied with grooves facing each other, formed by the flanges O G, or othermetallic brace, the outer ends of which are screwed or otherwise fastened to the frame A near its ends, its inner ends being screwed to or terminating into a ring, f, fitting around and resting upon the post B, to permit of the brace revolving with the said frame. A ring, G, slipped down on and fastened to the post B keeps the ring) to its place, holding the main frame or structure down upon the post B.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
The sliding frames D', rollers d d, and former or cylinder b, in combination, substantially as and for the purpose set forth. I
