IMPROVEMENT IN WATER-BRUSHES.

Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 168,093, dated September 28, 1875; application filed J ul5r 16, 1875.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HORACE T; HELMBOLD, of Philadelphia, in the'county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and useful Water-Brush, of which the following is a specication:

The invention consists of the combination, in a water-brush, of a body or block bristles, spray-chamber, Water-pipe, and a spray-deector, as is hereinafter shown and described.

` A is a block, of the usual external appearance, the interior of which is hollowed out to forma spray-chamber, B, to spread the water as it is delivered from the pipe C through the screw-nozzle l) to the, block. The front of the block is inclined/outwardly toward the bristles E, and covered by a spray-delector, F.'

When a sponge is to be used instead of the 4 bristles, a row of cord-holes can be made in the front or' the block, through which tie-cords can be passed.
