Specication forming part ofLettere Patent N o. 168,083, dated September 28, 1875; application led september 1o, 181'5.
To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES HENRY OLAP- HAM, of the city of Quebec, in the county and district of Quebec, in the Province of Canada, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Cleaning Knives, which improvement `is fully set forth in the following specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings.
The object of my invention is to rapidly form on the blade of a knife a bright and l is worked with a reciprocating motion between the said plates A A. As the knife or knives are actuated with a reciprocating motionvbetween the plates A Athe blade or blades are acted upon so as toproduce a bright and clean surface. The plates A A and the springs B B are contained in a hinged and as to allow of the introduction of the knife or knives to be cleaned.
