nected a nnmber 015 crown Wires o1 threads 12. These wires 01' threads 12 a1e also designed t0 hold beads 13 and may be a1- ranged in various fonns. F01 this purpose, 4 the invention provides 1netallic beads 14: which a1e transversely spht as indicated at 15, one of these beads being illustrated in Figure 2 01 the drawings. The splits 0E the beadg are snbstantially V-shaped and their ends abut substantially flush so as to reduce danger 0'f entangling the wearers hair. The beads 14 are also utilized f0r connecting the threads 01 wires 12 t0 the band 10, ehe threads or wires being passed th1ough the slit portion of the beads 14 and the s1it thereafter c1osed. The threads 01 wires 12 1nay tbus be connected ab desi1ed points aronnd che edge of the head band 10, while the said threads 01' wi1es 12 1nay alsobe connected 130 one anotber so as t0 fonn vari- 011s orna1nental designs such as illnstrated in Figure 1 of the drawings.
Tbe inventi0n is suscepfible 0f various changes in its form, proportions and 1ninor details 0f constrnction and the rigbt is herein reserved t0 n1ake such cbanges as properly fal1 within the scope 0f the appended claim.
Havin described the invention what is cla'nned is A head covering co1nprising a head encirc1ing beaded band having a marginal tbread. a pluraliy 0f cr0wn threads beads npon fhe crown threadg and sp1it bendable beads connecting tbe crown threads t0 the flnead 01 the band and t0 one another to provide an orna1nental crown, alle sp1its 0f said beads being snbstantially V-shaped with tbei1 ends abutting.
