This invention re1ates to impro-ven1ents in headwear and has especial relation to caps, an object being 1:0 provide an orna1nental cap by means of which the hair of the wearer may be prevented f101n becon1ing disarranged, the cap being especially designed for use when riding in an anto1nobile.
Another object 0f the invention is the provision 0f a cap of nove1 construction Wbich includes a crown 015 open f011nat-ion, nove1 means being nrovided f0r securing the c1own to the head band of the cap and f01 secnring the crovvn forming memberg together, to provide a crown of ornamental and attrac tive design.
VVith the, above and ot-her objects in view the invention further includes the following nove1 features and details 0f construction, to be hereinafter 1nore fully deseribed, illnstrated in the accompanying drawings and pointed out in the appended claim.

The splits 0E the beadg are snbstantially V-shaped and their ends abut substantially flush so as to reduce danger 0'f entangling the wearers hair. The beads 14 are also utilized f0r connecting the threads 01 wires 12 t0 the band 10, ehe threads or wires being passed th1ough the slit portion of the beads 14 and the s1it thereafter c1osed.
