AARON BUR-DWISE, OF BALTIIVIORE, MARYLAND.
PICK FOR STRINGED INSTRUMENTS.
Application filed October 3, 1923. Serial No. 666,233.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, AARON BURDWISE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore, in the State of Maryland, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Picks for Stringed Instruments, of which the following is aspecification.
This invention relates to improvements in picks for stringed instruments, and has for its object to provide apick so shaped that it fits the contour of the thumb and index finger when held therebetween, and which will enable the pointed end to strike the strings of the instrument squarely with the flat side when being used.
The invention consists of the novel c0nstruction and arrangement hereinafter more fully set forth in the following specification and pointed out in detail in the appended claim.

Referring to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, and in which like reference numerais designate like parts throughout the several views thereof,
1 designates the pick which has a flat taper- 30 ing lower end 2 and its opposite end 3 broad and slightly twisted with respect to the end 2, as shown in Figures 1 and 8, so that the upper end 3 will fit the contour of the thumb and index finger when held therebetween, 85 and the end 2 will be in a position to strike the strings of the instrument with its flat side.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is:
A pick for stringed instruments having one end flat and pointed and a broad opposite end slightly twisted with respect to the flat end to fit the contour of the thumb and index finger when held therebetween.
