IMPROVEMENT IN COMBINED FLOWER-STANDS AND FOUNTAlN-BASINS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 150,527, dated May 5, 1874; application filed April 25, 1874.

The invention consists in the combination of the combined feet and brackets, the shelf, and the border or rim with a fountain-basin, as hereinafter more fully described.
A represents the basin, which is made and provided with pipes for the ingress and egress of the water, in the usual manner. The center or ingress pipe is designed to be surrounded with an ornamental center-piece. Upon the under side of the basin A are formed sockets to receive the tenons formed upon the inner sides of the foot-brackets B. The lower parts of the brackets B project downward to serve as feet for supporting the basin A. The upper part of the brackets B projects outward to receive and support a shell, O, which may be close or perforated, and may be a light casting, or made of sheet metal, or of wire-work, or of other suitable material. The shelf 0 may be made in sections, so that it may be compactly packed for storage or transportation. The shelf 0 is provided with an ornamental border or rim, D, which is kept in place by the upwardly-projecting ends of the brackets B, as shown in the figure.
The border or rim D may also be made in sections, so that it may be compactly packed for storage or transportation.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The combination of the combined feet and brackets B, the shelf 0, and the border or rim D with a fountain-basin, A, substantially as herein shown and described.
