This back is mounted within a frame,V B, and standards C C are hinged to this frame, so as to extend downward, their lower ends being secured -to the back of the wash-stand. From the sides of the frame B the arms D D extend outward, being hinged in any suitable manner, as shown; and these arms 'serve as towel-racks, or to hang other articles upon. An ornamental frame, E, is hinged to the top ofthe frame I3, and one or more boxes, F, are secured toits front, for the reception. otl any small articles. Above the box F is a small apron or pocket, G, which is hinged below to the frame E, and has its upper and outer corners supported by the tasseled cord H, which is so secured as to present an ornamental appearance. This pocket serves to hold combs, &c. Across the upper part of the back A a rod, 1, extends, being supported by hooks at either end, and this rod serves as a support for a curtain or high screen, which may be extended across the ornamental back A, either for protection or further ornament.
The whole device is extremely ornamental, and is very convenient, as it allows all the necessary articles of toilet use to be deposited within easy reach. The bracket can be applied either in a corner or against a plain wall.
