Be it known that I, ABRAHAM TAYLOR, a subject of the King of Great Britain and Ireland, and a resident of Swinton, Manchester, in the county of Lancaster, England,

have invented'certain new; and useful Improvements in Washing Plungers,. Dollies, and the like, of which the followingis a specification.

This invention has reference to washing plungers, dollies and the like, and it has for its object to provide improvements in'such devices whereby they are of considerably stronger construction, more convenient in use, andless liable to fracture than those at present used. 7

According to this invention, a washing flunger, dolly or the like comprises side members suitably spaced attheir lower ends or edges and connected together by or fitted with rods, bars 'or the like forming a cagelike structure. The side members are preferably inclined towards each other, and taper upwardly so that their upper ends or edges lie close to or incontact with each other and the connecting rods, bars or the like may be arranged at or near their front and rear and/or loweredges. l V

The plunger or dolly is provided with an operating handle it secured toits upper end. 12. A washing plunger, dolly or the like, comprising divergent strips, a cap member connecting said strips at their convergent ends, a handle, a pin passing through the handle and cap member to anchor the handle to said member, and spaced bars connecting the divergent portions of the strips.

13. A washing plunger, dolly or the like, comprising a pair of divergent strips, an apertured cap member connecting said strips at their convergent ends, a handle passing through and anchored to said cap member, and spaced bars connecting the divergent portions of the strips.
