` that it will facilitate the operation of swimming, and enhance the. hold of the swimmer on the water Another object ofthe invention is to provide novel means for connecting the glove to the hand.
It is with in the province of the disclosure toY improve generally' and to enhance the utility of devices of that type to which the invention appertains. i
With the above and other objects in view, which will appear as the description proceeds, the invention resides in the combination and arrangement of parts andin the details of construction hereinafter described and claimed, it being understood that, within the scope of what is claimed, changes in the precise embodiment of the invention shown can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention.. l

The glove forming the subject matter of this application preferably is made outrof rubber, although Vany other material may be used. The glove comprises a body 1 which is concaved as shown at 2. A swimming glove/.comprising a concaved body folded at its edge to form a marginal flange, one end of the body overlying the Y' body and being secured thereto to form a loop; a first retainer having its ends en# gaged between the flange and the body; and a second retainer received ,in the loop.
