IMPROVEMENT IN SOFA-BEDSTEADS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 138,819, dated May 13, 18.73 application filed January 31, 1873. i
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES Rossow, of the city of Chicago, county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Folding-Lounges 5 and I hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing making a part of this specification, in which- Figure lis a perspective view of the lounge closed or folded 5 Fig. 2, a view of the lounge opened, to be used as a bed 5 Fig. 3, a detailed view of the pillow, with attachments for securing its position when in use, and otherwise; Fig. 4, a front elevation of the end of the lounge opened, showing the improvement in securing the legs in a closed position.

What I claim as of my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
In combination with the stationary headm and hinged part T, the detachable pillow B, the jointed brace a a, the pins w w, and hook C, arranged in the manner and for the purpose set forth.
