IMPROVEMENT IN DRAFT-TUBES FOR SODA-FOUNTAINS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 135,010, dated January 21, 1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, RICHARD B. RoBBINs, of the city of Adrian, county of Lenawee and State of' Michigan, have invented a newT and valuable Improvement in Draft-Tubes for Sofia-Fountains 5 and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the saine, reference being had to the annexed drawing nia-king a part of this specification and to the letters and figures of reference marked thereon.
Figure l of the drawing represents a perspective View of my invention.
This invention has relation to the manufacture of soda as a beverage; and consists in the novel construction, as hereinafter described, of' a metal tube closed at one end and perforated, through which the soda from the fountain to the tumbler passes in jets or spray, thus enabling the soda to unite with the sirup in the tumbler more perfectly than any device now used.
