IMPROVEMENT IN HALTER-BUCKLES.

4Specification forming part of Letters Patent 1L\*o.\l33,65,` dated December 3, 1872.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ANDREW MCGAEEEY, 'of Burlington, in the county of Chittenden and State of Vermont, have made certain Improvements iu Halters and other Head-Gear; and that I declare the following to be a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the drawing and the letters of reference thereon.

.lhe object of my invention or improvement is to produce a halter that may be readily adjusted to fit the head of any horse or other animal, and at no greater cost than the present undesirable halters. v

In 'constructing my improved halter the materials or stock are got out in the usual manner, but in place of clamping` or stitching the materials together in the usual manner andto a fixed size I use my improved buckle a, andsecure by riveting to onepiece, b, and passing other piece, c, through said buckle a, securing in place, in manner shown, by forcing stud d through small hole in piece c,- and by havin g a number of holes in said piece ofthe halter or other headgear can be adjusted to any desired size very quickly and securely.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The buckle a, having bar B, stud d, and

parallel bars C, when provided with the ear A, substantially as shown and described.
