To all 'whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Enwooo H. Jnnvrs, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city and county of San Francisco and State of California, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Liquid- Fuel Burners, of which the following is a specification. y f
The present invention relates to improvements in burners, particularly that type enrployed in the burning of hydrocarbon oils, particularly of heavy gravity.
The principal objects of the invention are to provide a constructionfhaving an iin- `Vproved burner cup, of the turbiiietype, ro-
tated by fluid under pressure, one having an 'improved fuel supply controllable at a' point within the burner cup, and 'one which 1s capable of ready swinging movement relative to the furnace opening.
To more fully comprehend the invention, reference is directed'to the accompanying sheets of drawings, wherein Figure 1 is av lan view, partly in section, of my improve construction.

Fig. 3 is an enlarged detailed sectional view illustrating the mounting for the burner cup and fuel supply leading thereinto.
n the several views of the drawings, wherein like characters of reference designate corresponding parts. 1 indicates a suit-I able tubular burner tip at the discharge end 2 of which the side walls taper, as at 3, toward the opening 4. The opposite end of said tip is connected over one end of the opening 5 of a suitable hollow body or ftting 6, preferably f the elbow type. The other end of said openin 5 connects through a pi e 7 with a suitab fitting 8, divided by t e intervening wall 9 into passages 10 and 11, the passage 11 connecting with the pi 7, as in Fig. 2 of the drawings The m et ends of the passages and 11 connect throu h fluid tight joints'13 and 12 with suitab e connections or elbows 1i and 15, from which extend the feed pipes 16 and 17. A bracket 18, preferably of the U-sh e t pe, secured to a support 19, preferably t e mace front wall, mounts the structure through suitable studs 20 which engage the respective elbows 14 and 15, holding the same in upright position and permitting the divided fittinpr 8 to rotate between the same.
