IMPROVEMENT IN STOVE-LID LIFTERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 128,792, dated July 9, 1872.
I, J AMES H. DENEEFE, of St. Louis, in the county 0f St. Louis and State of Missouri, have invented certain Improvements in St0ve-Lifters, of which the following is a specification:
Nature and Objects of the Invention.
G eneml Description.
The handle A is made of cast-iron or brass, and thepokerB can be made from one-half inch rod-iron, prepared before casting the handle A, and cast in the handle. The handle A can be made of a size suitable to the use for which it is intended, and has the lifting-bar O attached. The handle is of an oval shape, the slot H in the body of which forms the wrench. The poker B can be made the desired length, and of a size sufficient for the use for which it; is intended.
Claim.
I claim as my invention- The device A B C, as herein described, conibining a lifting apparatus for stove-lids, a wrench, and shaker for stoves, grates, &c., and a lire-poker, arranged and combined as set forth.
