To all 'whom t may concern:
Be it known that I, LAWRENCE W. GUS- y TAFsoN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Smolan, in the county of Saline and State of Kansas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Comb-Holders, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to an improved comb holder and the'principal object of the invention is to provide a comb holder so vconstructed that it may be held in the pocket and to further provide an improved type of securing clip adjustably mounted so that the comb holder may be held extended above the upper edge of the pocket a desired distance thus permitting the holder'to be easily reached and further permitting the holder to be slid in the pocket if so desired.
This invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, Wherein:-

The comb holder 10 is in the form of a receptacle formed of leather or any suitable material and of sufficient size to hold the comb 1l with the upper end of the comb eX- tending slightly from the open end of the holder. o
The securing means for the holder comprises the base 15 which is provided with overhanging anges 16 forming a track for the reception of the base portion 17 of the engaging hook 18. When this form is in use, the securing or clamping tongue 18 may be adjusted upon the baseV or track and the case can be held extended above the upper edge of the pocket a desired extent. It will also be possible to draw the case out of the pocket and then withdraw the comb and'after using the comb, insert the comb in the case and push the case down into the pocket. This would provide a very convenient case as the comb could be easily removed from the same and at the same time, the case could be adjusted in the pocket.
I have thus provided a comb holding case which is so constructed that it may be placed in the pocket without danger of dropping out when leaning over.
A comb holder comprising a casing,'a base plate extending longitudinally of said casing, spaced guide strips extending along the length of said plate, inwardly directed flanges formed on said guide strips, a sliding plate engaging said base plate and tted between said guide strips, and a clamping arm integral with one end of said sliding .plate and reversely curved to extend beyond the opposite end thereof.
