Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 127,184, dated May 28, 1872.
SPECIFICATION.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DENNIS MULoAHY, of
"Boston, in the State of Massachusetts, have invented an Improved Drip-Pan for Refrigerators; and I. do hereby declare the following to be a full and correct description of the same, reference beinghad to the accompanying drawing, in which- Figure lis a plan. Fig. 2 is a side elevation. Fig. 3 is a front elevation.
The object of this invention is the construction of a pan, which shall be shallow enough to be readily placed under refrigerators where there is but little room, and which at the same time may be easily handled without spilling its contents.
The pan is made with a concave top soldered to the sides, and having holes to receive the water as it drips or runs from the refrigerator, as shown in the drawing and with a nose and convenient handles, as also shown. The pan, as shown in the drawing, has also a gauge, to indicate the amount of water it may contain. The gauge swings upon a joint, as shown, that the gaugeglass maybe placed in any safe position.
I claim- As a new article of manufacture, a drip-pan for a refrigerator, either with or withoutthe gauge, substantially as described, for the purpose described.
