To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, AARON BLOCH, a citizen of the United States, and residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Lamp-Shade Holders, of which the following is a specification, such as will enable those skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same. i

This invention relates to shade holders for lamps, and the object thereof is to provide an improved device of this class which may be applied to lamps or illuminating burners of various kinds and classes, including oil burners, gas burners and electric light bulbs; a further object being to provide a device of the class specified which is simple in construction, eificient in use and comparatively inexpensive.

The invention is fully disclosed in the following specification, of which the accompanying drawing forms a part, in which the separate parts of my improvement are designated by suitable reference characters in each of the views, and in which Figure 1 is a sectional side view showing my improved shade holder applied to an ordinary gas lamp;

Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

1. A lamp shade holder composed of a plurality of L-shaped arms, the shorter portions of which are provided with flattened shanks having arc-shaped extensions provided at their ends with flat radial jaws, said shanks and'jaws being riveted together, substantially as'shown and described.

2. A lamp shade holder composed of se a rate parts provided at one end with attened shanks having arc-shaped extensions provided at their ends with fiat radial jaws, said shanks and jaws being secured together to form a circular head. v
