Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 124,432, dated March 12, 1872.
Specification describing a certain Veterinary Surgeons Case, invented by JOHN W. GADS- DEN, M. R. GV. S., of Hertfordshire, England, now residing in the city and county of Phila- The invention relates to a portable chest for ments of a veterinary surgeon. It consists ofa rectangular box of metal or other suitable material, divided longitudinally and vertically into two parts by avertical plane or partition. The front part of the chest is again divided into rectangular cells for the reception of medicine bottles. The rear division is formed into suitable receptacles forveterinary instruments.

The rear division is composed of cells or holders and spaces for the syringe E, drenching-hornpF, and the graduated measure G, as shown at Fig. 2. When additional instruments are to be carried suitable spaces must be added.
The case can be of any size commensurate With number of bottles of medicine, and the various veterinary implements to be used.
The bottles can be heldin place by a rib or Wire, f. For carrying from place to placca handle, H, is gred to the top of the case; and for suspending from a Wall or other situation pin or stud openings, g, are made at the back.
As shown at'Fig. l, a label containing the. numbers, &c., of the bottles is pasted on the inner side of the front doorlB. Any suitable notice can also be pasted to the same side of the end door C.'
