In use, it is to be understood .that the structure described in the foregoing and shown in the drawing, isduplicated on the otherside of thewindow frame,'that is,fa pair of the devices of my invention are to be used for supporting a shade and curtain in adjusted positions. The outwardly bent tain will engage the .shade roller and notv interfere with the proper manipulation ofk the same. It will be seen that the device of my invention when applied to a window frame supports a curtain pole at any desired height, of course, within certain limits. It will also be apparent that the standard 16 is adjustable to various lengths of shade rollers and the supporting block 19 is adjustable independently of thecurtain pole support.

Fromtheabove description taken in connection with the raccompanying drawing, it is thought that a clear and comprehensive understanding yof the construction, operation and advantages of my invention may be had, and while l have shown and described the device as embodying a specific structure, I desire that it be understood that such changes may be made in said structure as do Anot depart from the spirit and scope of the invention as claimed.

Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, Vis z-u f l. A device of the class described, the combination of a main supporting rod, a fiattened arm formed on one end of said rod,

A device of the class described, the combination of a main supporting rod, a flattened arm formed on one end of said rod, a plate member having` a struck outl portion thereon to receive the said arm, the other end of said rod being threaded, a bloclr having a longitudinally extending groove therein to receive the threaded end of the rod, a wing nut mounted Von said threaded portion adapted to adjust the said block, the block having a vertical'groove therein, a vertical rod slidablymounted in said vertical groove, the free end of said rod being bent laterally thereof to form arms, a second plate having struck-out portions thereon to reoeive'said arms, inwardly bent projections formed on said plates, a vertical standard mounted on said, rod, said standards vbeing longitudinally adjustable thereon, a block member slidably mounted on said standards, an arm extending outwardly from said block, means mounted on said block for retaining the same Vin adjusted position on the standard, and means mounted on said arm to-receive curtain rollers, and the upper portion of said standard being bent to provide curtain pole supports for a purpose specified. v i I ln testimonyv whereof, I afiix myv signature hereto. f
