To all whom it may concern I Be it known that I, JAMES N. PARRAHM, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kansas City, in the county of Jackson and State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Tools for Shoemakers, of which the following is a specification. 1
This invention relates to improvements in tools for shoemakers, one object of the invention being the provision of a tool the handle of which is provided with means for straightening orv smoothing out the welt.
Another object of the present invention is the provision of a shoemakers tool which is simple, durable and inexpensive in construction and thoroughly efiicient and practical in use. In the accompanying drawings: Figure 1, is a perspective view of the complete tool. Fig. 2 is a section longitudinally of the handle. Fig. 3 is a detail transverse sectional view through the handle of the tool.

What I claim, as new, is
A shoemakers tool, including a handle having a tapered end, and a metal cap therefor V-shaped in longitudinal section fitting upon the tapered end, and forming a smoothing and burnishing implement.
