This invention relates to ventilators for railway and othercarriages, tramcars and ships.
The invention has special reference to ventilators of the kind wherein a current of air passing through an air tube creates an up-draft or suction through a suction or ventilating pipe having a bent or curved end located in said tube and opening toward the exit thereof.
The object of the invention is to adapt such a ventilator to railway and other carriages, tramcars and ships and the like which move to and 'fro, or forward and backward, without being themselves re versed or turned around.
In the accompanying drawings Figure 1, is a sectional elevation of one embodiment of theinveniiion; and Figs. 2 and 3 are, respectively, an'elevation and a sectional plan of a modification.
