which the following is a specification, reference being had to th inns. This invention relates to an improved wrench and has for its primary ohject to provide a quick adjustable monkey wrench which is exceedingly simple in its construction as well as highly strong and durable. and is provided with means whereby the adjustable jaw can he securely held in its adjusted position to resist severe strains or pressures devolving thereon'in the use of the wrench. It is another more particular object of the invention to provide a Wrench of the above type including a shank having a fixed jaw on one end and teeth on the opposite edges of said shank, a pair of dogs pivot ally mounted in the-inner end of the ad justabl jaw. and bowed spring-s connecting said dogs and normally acting to hold the free ends thereof in enga ement with. the teeth on the wrench shank. pressure upon said bowed springs operating to move the dogs out of engagement with the teeth whereby the jaw may he longitudinally adjusted upon the shank.
With the above and other objects in view. my invention consists in the novel features of construction. combination and arrangement of parts to he hereinafter more fully described, claimed and illustrated in the accompanyinc' drawing in which.
