As a new article of manufacture a guard member for hollow bracelets formed of a single piece of metal comprising side bars, cross bars integral with the side' bars, resilient arms integral with the side bars at one side of the cross bars, engaging lugs on one arm, a beveled shoulder on the other arm outof alinement with said lugs, a projection on the' second arm,viesilient arms integraly with the side bars located at the other side' of ythe cross-bars, and `lateral lugs on the last mentioned arms.
