` IMPROVEMENT IN FOLDING-LOUNGES.
To all whom it may concern:
-Be it known that I, WILLIAM PRUEROCK, of St. Louis, in the county of St. Louis -and State of Missouri, have Ainvented certain Improvements in Folding-Lounges, of which the following is a specication My invention relates to the combination of a bolt and loop in order to secure the outer part of the head-piece to the body and still preserve the movableness of the former.
Figure I is a front elevation of a lounge embodying my invention. Fig. II is a side elevation of the same. Fig. III shows the back of the same. Fig. IV is the bolt and loop connecting the headpiece and body at the outer edge.
A is the body of. the lounge; B, the movable head-piece, of which the inside part is hinged horizontally to the body and the outside vertically to the inside. C is a sliding gauge, which can be detached from the head-piece whenever the back ofthe lounge is to be taken off. It Will be attached as high as possible to the head-piece thereby increasing its stability to such an extent that a similar slide on the outside of the headpiece can be dispensed with.
