IMPROVEMENT IN BIRD-CAGE MATS.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that 1, Cinemas S. SCHENGK, of New York city, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new and improved Cage-Mat; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification.
Figure 1 represents a central section of my improved mat, showing it applied to a cage.
Figure 2 is a plan or top view of the same.

This invention has for its object to provide bird- 7 cages with clean water-proof bottoms, which can be cheaply and conveniently renewed, and consists in the construction of a compound mat made of a number of sheets of watenproof paper, connected at the edges, so that they can be successively taken off, when soiled.
