The schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom -55 may concern:
vBe it known that I, JOHN Antes, Jr., of Lansing burg, in the county of Rensselear and. State of New York, have invented it new and useful Improvement in Paint-Brush; and I do hereby declare that the following is at full, oleer, and exact description thereof, which will enable others shilied in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing formingpnrt or" this specification;
The figure is a detail sectional view of my improved brush.
My invention has for its object to furnish an improved brush which shall be so constructed as to give more hotly to the brush and prevent it from wearing away in the middle faster than upon the sides and thus becoming swallow-tailed one It consists in the combination of a smell interior hrush with the main brush, as hereinafter more fully described.
A is the handle;

I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Petent-- The combination of an interior brush, D E F, with the exterior or main brush A B G, substantially as herein shown and described, and for the purpose set forth.
