IMPROVEMENT IN WINDOW-WASHERS.
The Schedule referred to in these Lett-,ers Patent and making part of the game.
To all 'whom 'it/mcy concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLESEDWARD Benno? Greenfield, in the county ot' Highland and State .of
Ohio, have invented a new and valuable Improvement' in Window-Washer; and l do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the construction and operation of the same, reference being had to the annexed drawing making a part of' this specification and to the letters and tgures o f reference marked thereon.

My invention has relation to an improvement inV window-washers; and
It consists in the construction and novel arrangement of devices `attached to a cross-head on the end` of a staff, whereby a window may he readily and conl wall, through which the water passes gradually out G, substantially as specified; l
In testimony that I claim the above, I have hereand down the inclined plane G and plate H to the washing-cloth'K. y
The washing-cloth K should` be of heavy woolen goods and Asecurely bolted between. the plates H B. 1
. The sliding `cover F, which closes the aperture L of the reservoir, should be as nearlyair tight as possible.
The washing and drying cloths having been attached and the reservoir filled, the window-washer is ready for operation. By means of the slide F the admission of air to the cylinder can be regulated in such a manner as to producathe proper ow of water.
The dow can be stopped when desirable by closingr the cover F. 1
What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1. The window-washer herein described,v having the perforated reservoir D provided with the regulating slide F, the inclined plane Gr, andthe clamps B Hand B' O, substantially .as/specified.
2. In a window-washer, the perforated 'reservoir D with air-tight regulating slide F, and the inclined plane tinto subscribed my name in the presence of two Witnesses.
