To all whom it may concern Beit known that I, Gnone ()BAD, a subject of the King of Hungary, residing at Belleville, in the county of St. Clair and State of Illinois, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Polish-Receptacles, of which the following is a specilication, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawing.
This invention relates to polish receptacle, especially designed to contain emery, and has for its object to provide a receptacle of such class, in a manner as hereinafter set forth, with means to constitute a polish reservoir surrounded by a collecting trough for the purpose of collecting polish which is thrown out of the reservoir when the polish is applied to an article.
Further objects are to provide a polish receptacle for the purpose set forth which is simple in its construction and arrangement, strong, durable, efficient and convenient in its use, readily set up and com paratively inexpensive to manufacture.
l/Vith the foregoing and other objects in view the invention consists of the novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts hereinafter more specifically described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein is shown an embodiment of the invention, but it is to be understood that changes, variations, and modifications. can be resorted to which come within the scope of the claim hereunto appended.
In the drawings wherein like reference characters denote corresponding parts throughout the several views: Figure 1 is a perspective view of a polish receptacle in accordance with this invention, and Fig. 2
is a cross sectional View thereof.
The polish receptacle is designed primarily for use in application of emery to an article for polishing it, the article being revolved in a reservoir to be presently referred to and during the revolution of the article certain of the emery will remove from the reservoir and in most instances be lost and associating with the reservoir is a Specification of Letters Patent.

Suspended within the frame 1 is a tank 10,
which constitutes a reservoir 11, the side and end walls of the tank 10, are formed with outwardly projecting lateral flanges 12, which are mounted upon the top edges of the inner side and end walls of the collecting trough whereby said tank 10 is suspended within the frame 1. Any emery discharged from the reservoir 11, during the polishing operation, will be collected in the chamber 9.
lVhat I claim is Apolish receptacle comprising a rectangular frame constituting a base, a collecting trough mounted thereon and including outer side and end walls and inner side and end walls and a bottom forming thereby a collecting chamber, a tank extending in said frame and provided with lateral flanges mounted upon the top edges of said inner side and end valls of said collecting trough thereby suspending the said tank, said inner side and end walls of said collecting trough being of greater height than the outer side and end walls of said collecting trough.
