The rear end ofA track 16 is so arranged that, by removing a portion of 'back 6 and withdrawing screws 21, the curtain 19 may be readilyA withdrawn to permit ready clear- -ing 'of channel 8 if necessary.

I claim as my invention: e 1..In a kitchen cabinet, the combination with the main body, vthe work table sur- .,mounting the main body, and thel superstructure arranged abovev the Awork table and having a oored compartment above the work table, of guide-ways arranged at the front coi-ners of said compartment and eX- tending rearwardlybeneath the ioor of the compartment, a iexible curtain arranged between said guide-ways and projecta'ble beneath the floor of the compaptment, and

a strikel bar having a free upper face and" carried by the free edge of ,said curtain to coperate with the forward edge of 'the compartmentffioor to close the slot between such floor and the' curtain and form a'continuation of said Hoor when the curtain is lowveiid,'and a lock arranged in the upper'part' of the compartment, and a projection car- 'ried by the Vcurtain to engage the lock when the curtain is raised to closing position.

In a kitchen cabinet,'the combination with .the .main body, the work table surmou'nting the main body', and the superstructure arranged above the work table and having -a oored compartment above the work table, ofvgui'defways arranged at the front corners of said compartment and eX- tending rearwardly beneath the floor of the compartment, aieXible curtain arranged be tween said guide-ways and projectable beneath the `floor of the'compartment, and a bar having a' free upper face andcarried by the free edge of said curtainto cooperate with the forward edge of the .compartment floor to 'close .the slot between such floor andA the curtainandform a continuation of said oor when the' curta'i is lowered.
